Hello.
I studied electrical engineering and information technology with a focus on biomedical engineering and medical computer science.
My Master thesis was realized at the NSF-funded Engineering Research Center for Computer-Integrated Surgical Systems and Technology at Johns Hopkins University (USA) and
dealt with the optical measurement of needle insertion depths.
I did my Ph.D. in the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg in Germany. My Ph.D. research focused on CMOS-based high-density electrode arrays for intracerebral neural applications.
Since 2012, I have been an R&D Engineer with the Department of Microsystem Technologies, Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart-Gerlingen, Germany. I am currently working on lab-on-a-chip systems for molecular diagnostics.
